when i was waiting for the loading of the pic since i have a bad connection here, i am amazed how high that fountain is.Its like i am not sure if that is a fountain at first but further reading the post of others i am struck by it that it is true.

yea josh..!! this truly is spell binding. I mean..look at the height to which the water is shot! Could someone tell me if holds the record for the highest fountain in the world?

I wouldn't be suprised if it is the highest foutain in the world. I don't know of any other that is so high. I did a search but nothing really found.

The fountain was stopped for several months in order to prepare the area near it for the new Bahrain Parliament Building. The pipeline for the water supplying the fountain and electricity line had to be moved to make way for the reclamation of land for the Parliament.

that's a really high fountain ya.. & it seems beautiful.. wish i can see it some day (: but actually, there's a higher fountain.. in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia (King Fahd's Fountain) (: i was there before couple of months && i was amazed. It is the tallest fountain in the world, with water achieving a maximum height of 312m which is higher than The Eiffel Tower, Paris. wow
